Love Horoscope 2017

New love will be a strong theme for 2016. Early this year an intensive phase of inner reflection or romantic evaluation will be ending. For the past few months many Capricorns have felt a subtle need to privately examine the intentions or past actions of loved ones. After mid-February, however, this phase will slowly end and, by mid-March, most Capricorns will be highly motivated to act upon their observations. 

Some Capricorns, especially those born after 1962, will find that vital emotional decisions will bring added trust and intimacy in long-term relationships by April 20th. After April relationships that need to leave your life will become obvious: watch for a brief period of intense disagreement or restlessness that will either be resolved or will cause a permanent separation. The first few months of 2016 is the right time to test the nature of key relationships: expect the results to bring either sharply increased freedom or deep feelings of comfort. 

Single Capricorns can expect to receive several romantic proposals at this time. There may be little, if any, way to avoid minor jealousies or confusing choices: so expect competing lovers to be mildly draining. Do your best to not feel in the middle. The summer months will bring tremendous forward movement in all serious relationships. Already committed Capricorns will experience a powerful wave of rekindled love, new affection and renewed vows while single Capricorns can expect one relationship to quickly become the main priority in their lives. Don't hesitate to increase intimacy and commitment this year: even though romantic conflicts have been confusing over the past few months, there are tremendous opportunities for emotional fulfillment in the coming year. 

There must be times when you feel like letting your hair down with the rest of us and throwing all that excess caution to the wind. But who's going to pick up the pieces is the question that often runs through your mind. Well this year it's not going to be you if I have anything to do with it. Ever heard of abandon? I know it crosses your mind from time to time and this is the time I want you to leave your inhibitions at the door and go after what you want. 

Whether you are in a relationship, or looking for love, when Pluto is at play it's do or die, now or never scenarios that you will be faced with. Let your partner know how much they mean to you, or make a move on the person you have been admiring from afar. You won't get anywhere by being defeatist or thinking you smell a rat when there's not one around for miles. Pluto will give you the edge this year and you'll be able to pierce the protective film around other people's motives and desires and really get down to the nitty gritty. It's the inner workings and mysteries that will entice you to folk and make you a bit of a sex siren in the process. Whether penetrating the darkest recesses of the soul or looking for some sort of spiritual connection, this is the year when you want a bit more for your money and that's exactly what you'll get. Bite through those restraints and no more holding yourself back.

Much of 2016 will be experienced as a time of social and romantic expansion: before mid-February expect both friendships and love relationships to be highly communicative and sensual. This is an excellent time to begin new family commitments or ask for greater intimacy with loved ones. Many Sagittarians are now completing a fairly intense phase of meaningful choice in key relationships. Outside love affairs, unexpected attractions and/or daily romantic restlessness may have all been of influence over the past few months. 

Many Sagittarians have recently felt a powerful need to prove the longevity and potential value of romantic commitments. After February long-term relationships and day-to-day commitments will experience a meaningful stage of enjoyment, home expansion and emotional rewards. By late March, however, you may be wise to begin introducing new social activities to love relationships or finding greater connections outside the home. Aspects indicate that between February 25th and April 3rd love relationships will need to explore a new level of social celebration and belonging. Astrologically, this will also be experienced as a time when you must do your best to recapture old feelings and remind loved ones of the original depths of their attraction. Sensuality and romantic encounters will be highly rewarding if, and only if, you can find a way to return to the passionate feelings of the beginning. After mid-April long-term commitments will become extremely obvious. 

Most Sagittarians will opt for deeper bonds and explore further commitments; some, however, will begin completely changing their life or home. Throughout the summer months watch also for a brief outside flirtation to become unusually distracting. Don't be derailed: this is not a good time to take emotional risks. Most of the coming year will bring intensely satisfying romantic feelings. It may be important, however, to acknowledge the long-term qualities in intimate relationships and rediscover your feelings of sensuality and attraction. Single Sagittarians will likely experience many romantic choices and intriguing social encounters this year. If so, be selective: much depends on your ability to nurture serious relationships.

Not one to be downtrodden by the hand you're dealt, your self worth is usually admirably high. This is attractive to others, which is important to you, as love ideally is about mental and spiritual connections as well as emotional and physical. This year, you may question the essence of this and how you approach intimacy. Love can still be an adventure with commitment. This doesn't have to be the dirty word you imagine and you can still enjoy a relationship with someone new if you're single without necessarily feeling hemmed in and suffocated. Oftentimes this is of your own making and you bolt to avoid things start to get humdrum or stagnate. Why not try sticking around and see how rewarding truly investing in someone else really is. Pluto will cause you to look for the hidden and mysterious and flirting and a flighty encounter or ten may leave you feeling a bit empty. That is not to say that fun will be lacking, on the contrary you'll have a lot more in the way of good times with a deeper connection. 

The same applies to those in a relationship. Sometimes being in a couple can feel like loneliest place on the planet and if this resonates with you then why not make overtures to your partner about how you're feeling. What do think will be the end result? You won't see them for dust? They will laugh you out of the room? None of this will happen so calm those fears and pluck up the courage to take love to the next level in 2008. Love can be hardcore at times and we all need to face up to its harsh realities at some point and increase both our self worth and the value of our union. 

Powerful emotions will help define the nature of key romantic partnerships this year. Early in January many Scorpios will begin the long and emotionally involved task of reclaiming ground in relationships. After January 9th an 8 month period of inner reflection and changes to roles or responsibilities will be coming to an end. For some Scorpios, especially those born prior to 1983, this may have been felt almost exclusively in the area of family traditions, parenting roles or group obligations. However, for most Scorpios this will also apply in a fairly dramatic way to romantic unions and love affairs. 

On a deep level all Scorpios have changed their approach to love over the past few months from inner privacy to outer expression. What this means, ultimately, is that friends, lovers or family members may now expect more public communication or emotional intimacy in long-term relationships. Not a problem: many Scorpos have likely been preparing to evolve in just this way without even knowing it. After mid-April expect long-term relationships to also begin an actively social stage. Group activities and social celebrations will bring many powerful romantic moments this year: so, as much as you need to establish a slowly evolving romantic union, you also need to explore lighthearted social occasions and events. 

It will be important this year for many Scorpios to choose someone who can relate to your private world as well as accentuate their public style. After May 11th expect romance to move to a deeply committed level and, throughout the summer months, watch for passion and intimacy to become firmly established in your life. Single Scorpios will break free from past disappointments in 2016 and begin a compelling phase of creative social and romantic exploration. Define your terms this year: romantic partners and potential lovers may be waiting for obvious signals. 

Your sign conjures up images of exotic, exciting love, the stuff of Mills and Boon, where two strangers are thrown together in dangerous and dramatic circumstances. I'm sorry to rain on your parade but 2016 holds anything but. If you're single, I'll warrant that you'll be introduced to your future lover through a friend or family member. You may have already made their acquaintance. Sort journeys not too far from your home are also key to blossoming romances and trysts, all of which are the lifeblood for a single Scorpio. Go and enjoy as the passion part of the equation will remain whatever the circumstances, if you're true to your sign. It could start with a whimper, that is to say no violins, or eyes meeting across a crowded room, or brushing against an attractive stranger in a tightly packed space. It will be special and meaningful nonetheless. 

If you are working at re-establishing an existing love this year, then my advice is go back to where you first started out. This is the best way to recapture some of the magic and romance that, perhaps, has diminished, or all but disappeared from your love life. We all build our lives with someone who means the world to us, but in many cases, sooner or later, the pressures of living eclipse these feelings and extinguish the spark. Try and remember what brought you together in the first place and try not playing your cards so close to your chest.

2016 is a time of decisive action in all romantic relationships. Early this year many Librans can expect a long-term romantic partner or potential spouse to ask for solid commitments and detailed plans. Before mid-March expect romantic obligations to change significantly: increased intimacy, complex family discussions and the open expression of lifestyle goals may all be on the agenda. 

Single Librans can expect family pressures or the return of an old lover or friend. If so, avoid being drawn back into yesterday's relationships: at present, planetary alignments suggest that if you chose to re-introduce an old lover into your life, you may miss an important and promising relationship. Between March 11th and April 8th watch for new introductions to quickly evolve into passion: these few weeks are a powerful and meaningful time for finding a kindred soul. 

Already involved Librans can expect a rapid expansion of family or financial concerns before the end of April. Don't shy away from responsibility this year: great happiness will result from venturing further into relationships and exploring new emotions with loved ones. After mid-July watch also for travel, social connections or communications with distant relatives to affect romantic planning. Some Librans may find that family events or social celebrations now help move a long-term relationships into an enjoyable phase of travel, exploring other cultures or relocation. 

This is a strong year for exploring serious romantic commitments and releasing short-term ideals or goals in key relationships. Remain open to highly creative suggestions from romantic partners or potential mates and expect emotional commitments to be unusually rewarding throughout 2016. 

Being the sign of love, marriage and partnerships, romance is never far from your thoughts. The move of dynamic duo Pluto and Jupiter, along with the two eclipses this year, will have a marked effect on you. The securing and preservation of the status quo will be your main aim in existing couplings, whilst if you're a single Libran, you'll be attracted to solid, dependable types who are grounded on many levels. 

Your guiding principles are inner peace, security and calm. You'll find yourself making a concerted effort to really get to know people. In fact the people who know you best might be shocked at how much you mean business. There is a hopeless romantic incubating inside you and it will be making its presence felt this year, whatever your relationship status. 

When the sun moves into your sign later in the year,  it is then that you'll feel emotionally self-satisfied. This is not shouting from the rooftops, showy love. It's private, quiet and you'll want to retreat with your special someone to a sanctuary, close the door on the world, shut the blinds and wallow in how much you mean to each other.
